LeicaBraz Posted August 9, 2014 Share #1 Posted August 9, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) What developer do you use with this film? Did one roll done with Spur Acurol-N but didn't much like the results (rather dark negatives), though admit might have been a problem with water temperature (my fault). Thanks
Advertisement Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Hi LeicaBraz, Take a look here Fuji Acros 100. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Keith (M) Posted August 11, 2014 Share #2 Posted August 11, 2014 I expose @ ISO 80 and develop in Rodinal 1:50, 20deg C for 11mins 30secs. Gives me negs that are ideal for scanning.
LeicaBraz Posted August 12, 2014 Author Share #3 Posted August 12, 2014 Keith: thanks very much. I understand Rodinal is quite finicky with agitation/inversion - what is your procedure for it? Thanks again.
Keith (M) Posted August 12, 2014 Share #4 Posted August 12, 2014 Ten slow/gentle inversions in the first thirty seconds then three similar ones (in 10 seconds) every minute. Not forgetting of course, to rap the bottom of the tank to dislodge any air bubbles afterwards. Works for me

fotohuis Posted August 18, 2014 Share #6 Posted August 18, 2014 Acros 100 will fit with a lot of developers. I am working with a Dunco II 67 combined condensor diffusion box and I use 13:00 minutes with Rodinal/R09 1+50 E.I. 80. First 30s continuous then every 30s 2x. It is a good and safe combination.
Rolo Posted August 19, 2014 Share #7 Posted August 19, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) I use HC110 @ 1:64 dilution. Very convenient developer. Gary
fotohuis Posted August 23, 2014 Share #8 Posted August 23, 2014 Just an example of Fuji Acros 100 E.I. 80 in R09/Rodinal 1+50. The grain is neglectible with this film, even in R09/Rodinal which is normally giving pronounced grain with any cubical classical type film. drk_1981 Posted August 23, 2014 Share #9 Posted August 23, 2014 Currently I am using Ilford DD-X with Acros 100 and I'm very happy with the results. In the past 8 months I have used various brands of film with various ISO's to determine what I like best, all where responding well to DD-X. My Current setup is primarily Acros and Neopan as I liked the results best so far and the films are super forgiving in regards of development timing and temperature (I usually develop with 23degree celcius, normal tab water temp).
