Bobitybob Posted May 23, 2014 Share #1 Posted May 23, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Not sure if anyone else has noticed but Poundland (UK only I think) is now stocking Agfa Vista Plus 400 as well as the ISO 200 flavour. 24 Exposures only (at least in my local store) but still great value for a Pound.

Stealth3kpl Posted May 23, 2014 Share #2 Posted May 23, 2014 Fantastic, thanks for the heads up. Do they sell freezers? Pete
Bobitybob Posted May 23, 2014 Author Share #3 Posted May 23, 2014 Funny you should mention that, as she who must be obeyed has just told me that I will need to get a bigger freezer if I keep buying film
gyoung Posted May 23, 2014 Share #4 Posted May 23, 2014 When I was looking for some 200 in there it looked like there were only 24 exp. But delving deeper into the pile I found some 36 exp. so its worth rummaging. Gerry Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
CrisRose Posted May 23, 2014 Share #5 Posted May 23, 2014 I've only ever found 24exp rolls, picked up 32 last visit
andybarton Posted May 23, 2014 Share #6 Posted May 23, 2014 Is the film any good, though?

Stealth3kpl Posted May 23, 2014 Share #8 Posted May 23, 2014 Is the film any good, though? I'm chuffed with the 200. I think the 400 is worth a punt, especially at that price. Pete
andybarton Posted May 23, 2014 Share #9 Posted May 23, 2014 Cheap film is great. But, when I have the time to go out taking photographs, I know that time is precious. And I know that I want to be using the very best film I can, to give me the best chances of recording the best photographs
chris_livsey Posted May 24, 2014 Share #10 Posted May 24, 2014 I do like to keep some cheap stuff about, shutter tests, transport tests, developer check, where is that scratch coming from test etc etc but like Andy if it's for real no expense spared. With the C41 it also seems counterintuitive to pay more for developing than the film, no idea how much home C41 works out at. The heads up is appreciated though. I found the Poundlands varied, some had both 24/36 some one or the other with the vista 100.
