erl Posted October 5, 2014 Share #3 Posted October 5, 2014 Thank you, especially to the other participants. I enjoy anticipating and finally seeing how everyone will interpret the set competition title. It seems both cultural and geographical difference play a part in this. Also, thank you to muellerman779 for organizing and judging the event. If precedent is to be followed I guess it falls to me to nominate the next Barnack Challenge, # 26. I am not sure what timing is expected. Is there a 'set' time for the next Challenge, or is it a bit freer? I invite advice on this.

Bateleur Posted October 7, 2014 Share #5 Posted October 7, 2014 Congratulations Erl! Your entry stood out depicting rest and calm particularly as it included something which epitomises a break from everyday, a letter, hand written perhaps, taking the reader to another experience, far from the present, from a lover perhaps or a relative. Your picture certainly takes me away from the everyday! Sincerely Charles

octo Posted October 15, 2014 Share #9 Posted October 15, 2014 Cheers!Leaving for the airport now. Congratulations on your first place! But, seriously, could you give us a chance on the One Challenge? For you, it's "been there, done that, got the T-shirt" thing whereas us poor amateurs labour to emulate the "usual suspects". Bravo again, and it was a pleasure to see you though we didn't have much opportunity to chat. Next year in Vienna, and don't say no right away;)
