Keith Novak Posted January 24, 2015 Share #1 Posted January 24, 2015 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) I've just switched to a Mac and have always Used ACDSee Pro on my windows machines so downloaded the Mac version to put on the new computer ... I also have the current version of Lightroom installed but there are a couple of things that ACDSee does that are useful so it's handy to have as an extra tool. However ... the instant you attempt to open a DNG from the 240 the program crashes even though the list of raw converters in the software includes Leica DNGs. I contacted ACDSee about this and they finally aknowledged that it's a problem after receiving a recent complaint from another user with a 240. They are working on it according to them but the fact that they weren't really aware of it surprised me considering how long the 240 has been on the market. I thought I'd just give a heads up here in case someone else attempts to use their Mac Pro3 software. The windows version is fine by the way!
