k-hawinkler Posted October 18, 2014 Share #1 Posted October 18, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) OS X Yosemite 10.10 on nMP works fine with my Firmtek Port-Multiplier enclosures. However, one needs firmware update Q6G-6.1.8FC1 that is not yet publicly available.

esquire53 Posted October 25, 2014 Share #11 Posted October 25, 2014 hmm strange, I responded to you from my iPad, but I guess I messed up ... so previously, I powered down the Mac from the primary screen and turned off my power distribution. All monitors, external devices and Mac Pro are powered from one distribution, connected to a UPS. since the upgrade, my second monitor wasn't recognized but the power LED was blinking, so not activated by the Mac. I messed around with disconnecting and connecting the mini port/usb > vdi adapter and the screen showed up again. what is working now, before I power down the Mac from the primary screen, I power down the secondary screen with the side button and then power down the Mac from the primary screen (or apple symbol on the screen, doesn't make any difference), but left the power distribution on. If I remove the power from the secondary screen, it will not be recognized at the next Mac power up. Since I like to disconnect the power from my system, I currently have my second monitor on permanent power (from the UPS) and not over the switchable distribution. All other devices are still on the switchable distribution I hope it helps and sorry for my late reply Uwe
pop Posted November 7, 2014 Share #12 Posted November 7, 2014 GIMP 2.6.12 would not start at first. After updating XQuartz to Version 2.7.7 all seems fine so far.
