DNG's from XVario using Aperture 4.51

I am currently enjoying very much my XVario, but having some difficulty downloading raw images to my IMAC running Mavericks and Aperture 4.51.

I know I can use the supplied Lightroom, but my software manipulation skills leave much to be desired and I have built up a level of comfort with Aperture.

Any ideas?

Aperture "4.51." might support the X Vario :D, but the actual Aperture version is 3.5.1, the digital camera raw 5.03

 

And you're unlucky, the DNG out go the Vario is not supported by Aperture.

 

And if I remember how long it took to support the Monochrom, Aperture users might have to wait a little bit longer.:o
