Hi Folks, do you know how to change the colour profile to a JPG or TIFF file in PhaseOne Capture One?
No problem using the DNG, but when i try to assign a new colour profile to a JPG or TIFF file, the profile selectore becomes gray, and it appears locked. Is there a way? I bought the JFI profiles some time ago, but I can't use them on some older JPG files that are not coupled with DNG. At the time I didn't use to shoot DNG that much. Thanks a lot |

No way to change the profile on a non-RAW file in C1, I'm afraid. You can do it in Photoshop, but you can only look at TIFFs and JPEGs in C1.

Maurizio--
No, you can't adjust non-RAW files in any version of C1 that I'm aware of....it's just a raw converter that happens to let you view TIFFs and JPEGs too. So if you need to apply a profile, or convert to a different profile space, or work on the contrast or colour of a JPEG, you need Photoshop or some other tool that works with JPEGs. You can use the JFI profiles in Photoshop (assign profile or convert to profile works; experiment with both). You won't have the same level of exposure control you have in C1, though.
