Mike Johnston reports on the new Panasonic DMC-LX3 on his "Online Photogapher" blog here.

This is the successor to the DMC-LX2, which was rebadged as the Leica D-Lux 3. Note the very fast, wide Leica lens.

Well I might retire my G9 and get the PanaLeica as a P&S.
