Any updates on a D-Lux 4?

Hi all

Just wondering if anyone has any reliable information on when a D-Lux 4 may be coming out?

Calling some of the Leica dealers it seems imminent. Some are no longer getting new stocks of the D-lux 3 in (or the Pana LX2). The price has also come down by several hundred in the last few weeks. They are all saying they haven't heard anything though some are also speculating it must be soon.

So reading between the lines, it looks like we may get a D-Lux 4 by the end of the year.

Well, Called my dealer and ordered one...it's not out yet but 1st one, is sold to me already...

I would love to know what improvements they are doing to the D-Lux 3.....

Hang on. Are you saying there is one definitely coming but it’s not just released? Any idea of timeframe and cost?

I went camera shopping today and was told the Panasonic LX2 has now been discontinued. You can still get them through special order but stores are no longer stocking them. Being an optimist I see this as a good sign that a new LX3/D-Lux 4 is on the way rather than they are stopping the model altogether.
