I have a Digilux 2 and never had a problem with it. Some time ago I saw on the lieca web site that the sensors in this camera were still being replaced under warranty. I cannot find the relevant information though now. Can anyone confirm if this is still the case,
I'm still delighted with he camera, but thinking of selling it and buying a small compact that will fit in my shirt pocket if the warranty is still going it will help the sale.![]() |

Sorry - but I have no idea whether it is still going - perhaps others who have recently had "the problem" can advise better. Or - why not contact your local Leica service?

Thomas, I think you can depend on Leica fixing the sensor for free. Mine was done a couple of months ago and the sensor was replaced for free.
They also replaced the top plate and adjusted the focus mechanism, but for the price I got a complete CLA and a 1-yr warranty
