Samy's Camera on Fairfax in my opinion has the most competitive prices in LA. Make sure you see Tibor ( he also is the Leica Specialist) - I think he is there Fri, Sat and Sun call first 323 938 2420 . He'll give you a great deal.

Samy's is indeed the most obvious choice. If you're in West LA you might try Bel Air Camera in Westwood. I always get good prices there, but that may be because I've been on their "professional" list for 20 years...
