Hello,
Just wondering if any of this esteemed crowd has used the software called "Panorama Factory"? I need to make some well-stitched panoramas soon and this looked like a nice software for the job. Any input, folks? Troy

I've used it and it does a very good job. I've not used it for a while, and my version may not be up to date, but it did crash very occsionally which was annoying. That may have been addressed in a later release.
If you have CS3 then try the panorama stitching facility in that before buying anything, it's greatly improved over earlier versions.

Satisfied customer -- I have maintained the current version over the years.
That said, my interaction has been absolutely minimal -- I've used the wizard for everything and have been pleased so far. The largest image I've constructed was a join of 7 images on Ektachrome (M6 + 35mm Summicron). I printed it at 11" x 17" using my Epson 2200 & found no artifacts indicating that the image had been stitched. -- Steve A. |
