Downloaded Aperture Trial.
It quits-quits-quits on opening.
Any idea, anyone ?

Already done. Aperture still quits.

Are you by chance using Phocus from Hasselblad on your machine also?

The same thing happened to me due to a conflict there.

I found out the hard way how to solve it. One solid week of struggling and trying all kinds of stuff, including alot of hours on the phone with Hassy and Apple.

Phocus installes some weired Color Sync Profiles that Aperture can not interpret. This is the cause for the crash. If you know a little German the PhotoBlog SucherRahmen has more explanation for it.
