Leaving the deserved euphoria of the M8 sub-forum and returning to cameras that are rather more affordable for some (most?) folks, based on the Euro prices quoted by Leica,
I make the new Digilux 3 to be appprox £1800 in UK (assuming about 1.4 as the Euro/GBP rate). The D_Lux3 would then be about £435 and the V-Lux about £580. I am assuming however that Leica will set the prices to various "price points".

I would hope that the Digilux is not priced higher than £1800, but I can see the D-Lux3 being priced at £499 and the V-Lux being £599.

Feel free to suggest appropriate USD pricing!

Any word on availability?

I think I found the Digilux 3 was listed with a suggested retail of 2500 Euros, so that somes to $3177.00 USD.

I'd still like to have one.
