mirekti Posted August 17, 2014 Share #1 Posted August 17, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) I plan on getting 3880, and found it's limited to 17x22 borderless printing. I also found there are some RIP tool which might fix this. Has anyone had any experience with 17x25 printing on 3880? Furthermore, in case I decided to print on 17x25 paper, would it mean I'd have to simply set the borders in Lightroom 1.5" to match 22" width? Advertisement Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Hi mirekti, Take a look here Epson 3880 17x25 borderless printing. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
kdriceman Posted August 17, 2014 Share #2 Posted August 17, 2014 In the lightroom print module you simply configure the cell to the dimensions you want. I can't remember for sure but I believe I have printed on paper longer than 22". I always thought the limitation was the 17" width and not the length. mirekti Posted August 17, 2014 Author Share #3 Posted August 17, 2014 It is stated in the specs 17x22 is the largest borderless format. I am confused a bit more as it is able to print 17x22 borderless, but not if the paper is longer for three inches. By searching the web I found there are some RIP plugins which could cover this issue.

I just happened to be looking at Craigslist in Austin, TX and there is a 3880 for sale and they are asking $650, Just thought I would pass this along.

Try ImagePrint. Not cheap, but works.
