It works fine. Just fill in the screw area carefully so that there's no reflective metal where the line goes.
The only weird thing I've run into is that sometimes when I turn on the camera it fails to recognize the lens but if I release the lens and re-engage it the camera (power off) the lens is coded ok. I turn the camera on & off several times during the photo session and it continues to correctly write the EXIF info. I turn the camera off and put it in the bag and sometime later I turn it on and it's no longer seeing the coding. Anyone else seen this? It's easy to fix but strange behaviour. |
