I've been looking for exactly the same thing but wanted neoprene. I don't know if zing makes one that small?

Jewellers have these small velvet pouches with a string-pull closing that will fit perfectly.

It is because we have to gift-wrap these pouches so often...

Ziplock bags work for me... A step up from sandwich bags. Lemmesee, 2 bags * $30.00 not too shabby. Pays for part of my Artisan and Artist leather bag.

YMMV obviously...

Try a fishing rod store - I guess real fishermen have multiple reels, and the little soft drawstring bags they use are perfect for a lens....I was in one with a friend and they just gave me a couple (with their logo on it, I think they give away a lot of these), all a different color, so you can tell things apart from the outside.

Be careful! You've obviously been okay with these bags (i assume you've been using the Ziploc brand), but some of the plastics in similar bags have some form of 'sand' texture that will SEVERELY scratch glass surfaces!

I put a brand-new iPod into a Muji ziplock plastic bag (for protection, ironically enough), and one hour later the ENTIRE surface was finely sandpapered with tiny scratches.
Can't imagine what it might do to finder glass...

Take a look at what Op/Tech has to offer. Lots of neoprene solutions.

Thanks Roger i did order that today. shame you pay 350 for a finder and no case, Zeiss should be ashamed of themselves.

I am not sure if the pouch you bought which was made for the 24mm finder will fit the larger 21mm finder. However you could try to purchase a leica soft case made for the 21-24-28 viewfinder which should be perfect for the Zeiss. I tried it with my old viewfinder from the Contax G2 21mm and it is perfect.

Next time you go shopping for her, keep the soft pouch and throw the inside stuff away. Then she won't need the pouch.
