A firmware download for the LEICA M8 is available on the Leica Website. The new version includes numerous improvements based on practical experience. The delivery of the first UV/IR filters to the customers has also commenced. The filters are

The entire range of Leica R SLR lenses can now also be used on the LEICA DIGILUX 3 digital camera thanks to the new Leica R Lens Adapter. Due to the reduced dimensions of the FourThirds System sensor compared with the 35mm format, the focal length of the lenses is doubled.
