looks like b&h website is once again gearing up to have these back in stock. keep an eye on them for the next day or so for when ther're likely to show in-stock and available. and use the b&h link here at the forum if possible!

I just got my letter in today from Leica Germany with the lens discount offer. Maybe I better spend my money for another lens instead of another camera although another M8 is tempting.

Just wondering, how many in here have more than one M8?

I have 2 and it is a nice pair. One for the shoulder and one for the hand

two for me as well. wanted to have one while my first one vacations in germany, then as a backup on my own europe vacation this summer. then maybe keep as a backup, or take advantage of liquid market for m8's to downsize to one late summer.

steve- pretty well documented artifact discussed in this forum- if you search website for the m8, it usually pops up as back-ordered. if you keep that page, then for "show me" sort at top, click "in-stock only." if camera shows up then, it almost always shows up within the next day as being available and you can order. most have had good luck shopping early morning online, but some have reported being able to purchase by telephoning (imagine that!) night before. so if you want one might try to call later today (or even now), or click tomorrow morning early. good luck!

the trick is, just above the pictures of the M8's it says:
Show Me
All: In Stock
Click the "In Stock" and they magically appear.

go ahead and call them now. multiple people were able to buy them over the phone before they were "in stock" on the web site.
