Digilux 3 ....Recording RAW only
Is it possible to set as a default to write only RAW files and exclude the jpegs. Since I shoot RAW only (new to Leica) I see no benefit for me to have jpegs included.

Welcome to the forum, Robert.
I suspect not. I have the D2, not the D3, and it's not an option. I believe that jpegs are included so that the images can be viewed with software that can't read the D3's raw files: Windows Explorer and its Mac equivalent for example. HTH Pete.
