Default which new lens for the M8?

I was a M6 user for the last ten years. My favorite lenses the 35 Summicron and the 90 Apo. Now Im waiting for my M8 with the 30% offer for a new lens. I sold a 50mm once because i hardly used it. Things are complicated by the fact that I bought myself a Digilux3 which performs exremely good but of course is a burden to carry around. So the role of the M8 will be an all available camera with max. 2 lenses at the time.
Of course Im thinking about a wide angle but which one?
Help!

Default AW: which new lens for the M8?

Seems to me you should buy the Tri-Elmar 28-35-50 and block of the 35 reading! On the M8 this will look like a Duo-Elmar "35" and "70"

It seems that if you are used to the perspective that a 35mm gives you, even though it will be a little tighter you might want to stick with that lense. I bought a new 28mm with my M8 and find that although the field of view is similar to the 35mm on film, you do get the wider perspective of the 28mm.

I would suggest that if you are used to the field of view of the 90mm you might want to consider one of the 75mm lenses. There shouldn't be that much perspective changes between the 75mm and the 90mm.

I know that if I can find the cash I will buy a 75mm

Happy New Year from a new poster (or an old Poster depending on how you look at it).

Happy new year and thank you for the suggestions.
What exactly do you mean with the wider perspective?
And the tri elmar is an interesting new line; isnt the lens too clumsy?
the 24 is pretty big too and comes into the view, isnt that embarassing?

Thanks to all

The perspective of a 28mm lens does not change no matter what field of view you are covering. That is aphysical reality. So you will have the wider angle feel of the 28mm in the way the perspective converges (this is not lens distortion I'm talking about - just the way a 28mm "sees" compared to a 35mm).

The Tri Elmar seems too slow as well.
