Leica M8 upgrade

Sorry if this post is redundant. Can the upgrade be performed at Leica in NJ, or does it have to go to Germany? Thanks!

It must go to Germany, but arrange it through your dealer.

They say 10 working days plus transit time... Likely to be 4 weeks in the finish.
