Advice re Noctilux

I love my new M8 and I now have the opportunity to get a used Noctilux - 50 dating approx 1977 (made in Canada) .. the glass is perfect as are the images x 1.33.

what I should I expect to pay for this as it belongs to a friend's relative?

Not sure of the vintage of these, or wether the serial makes a big difference in value.

hopefully because it may be a "vintage" lens I can get it for less..

I paid Euro 2000,- recently for a mint (like new, probobably never used) version 50 1.0 first version with 58mm filter!
THis is a smaller lens than the current, because it can be used without a hood .... therefore i wanted that specific version.
