Leica M8 Battery

Anyone got a tip for a spare battery for my Leica M8, i can't find any "in stock"...

Your not alone Alexander ..... you have to buy a 2nd body to get that 2nd battery at this stage i am afraid.
I am also still waiting for mine

I can assure you that they actually are produced - I got one, although I waited 2 weeks for it (in germany). Seems that Leica isn't exactly keen on selling accessories right now.

Apart from that, I am surprised how long a single one lasts - I did 300+ shots with a single one last week, 1 second review and turned off in between shots.

Funny enough, the only thing I have so far is a spare battery, my M8 have not arrived yet.

Speaking of battery, has anyone had a battery that only charged to 75 % of charge all the time ?
Will this get better after a few recharge or do I have a bad battery ?

It should charge to 100%. The first couple of charges it may not last as long as it will after a few cycles.

Man, I wish I had a second battery, even if it would only charge to 75%. I'm thinking of hiring Indiana Jones to find me one....

So far I lucked out. I have 3 batteries, none of which had any issues. Got them from Tony at PopFlash. I wish I had a 4th one, as I go through all of them during a day of shooting.

Yes, the one I got with the camera has been been only charging to 75% and lasts for about 100 shots , its been used for a month now without change - I hope Leica will replace it.
