Any word on M8 firmware?

I know that it will work with the filters etc. but did any of the suggested enhancements make it in? Any fixes to white balance? Release date? I would think that maybe a few people like Sean might get it ahead of time to test it.

They said early December. Today is the 7th. All depends on your view of when "Early" December becomes "Mid" December.

My thought as well early could mean up to the 10th but also could mean up to the 15th. I know some people have 1.09 and thought maybe that some changes might have shown up in it or that some might have 1.10 in beta.

I don't own a M8 but a DMR. All the DMR users have waited for the DMR firmware 1.3 over 8 months, and we still fail to find it from the official Leica web site up to this moment.

Some forum members said the new DMR firmware will be released in Dec 06 as well. Let's see which one will come out first: M8 or DMR.....

If I was a DMR owner, I'd feel seriously side-lined by now...

especially considering my cash outlay for the dmr (not the camera) was as much or more than the m8....

Keep waiting, and checking the Leica site everyday and night.
