Dear all,
I just removed all tags that were generated automatically. Now only tags are counted that were set by you. Right now, only two tags are enough to get listed (amongst them KGB and CIA). http://www.leica-camera-user.com/tags/ So - tag your postings - it will never be easier to get in the cloud! Regards Andreas |

Hi Bill,
Tags are a way of assigning "key words" to a thread here at Leica Camera User Forum. They are used quite often in other forums or web sites to potray in a tag cloud emerging topics or those of decling interest. If you click on "Tags" on the top bar of your page you'll see what is know as a "tag cloud". Tags that are listed in bigger fonts have more threads. Click on a Tag word and you'll see all posts that have been tagged inthat way. Tags are also kind of democratic free-form method of indexing content. Users themselves apply tags using a "folksonomy" of their own, not by some agreed upon formal indexing scheme. OK, I probably went on and on about that... Sorry...one of my interests. Here's a link to an article in wikipediaL: Tag (metadata) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Franklin |

Interesting -- I just started a new thread, and there's the tag box. And I used it. And it works.
Before this, i was trying both IE (god preserve us) and firefox to set tags. Thanks for the reponse.

Andreas,
I added tags first time posting a photo (Piazza del campo). I put them as: R135/2.8, Velvia 50, Siena and so on.. the fist appeared as r13528 [X], so may be I didn't understand how they work. Need help. Thank you in advance, Fernando. |

Fernando, go into search to pop up search tags up in the dark grey toolbar and type "pamela" or "anderson" or "tits" or "brightman" or "purple" and see what comes up. Pretty simple really, the threads with those tags get listed. Hang on a sec, I think I deleted my "tits" tag. The others work but.
