Hi All,
Just wondering if anybody has any advice about service intervals for an M6ttl.? It's about 6 or 7 years old and has had numerous trips in backpacks and skiing trips (and hence has sufferered some of the falls that I have). The body is virtually pristine as I carry it in padded waterproof Pelican cases. I've had the feeling that some of my velvias(100ASA) have had less than the sharpness I would usually expect. My 35f1.4 was bought 2nd hand and my 90summicron bought new. Any advice greatly appreciated. Tieds |

If you can cope with the export/re-import paperwork from Oz, a trip to Solms makes sense. They do a great job in checking the thing out and it comes back working like new. I believe they also warranty their work.
Given that DHL will get it there in a couple of days and you can pay by credit card, it's so easy. Email cs@leica-camera.com and they will be able to advise you further. I've had nothing but good experiences with them, they really know and understand their product.
