one of the advertisers on this site is SH Photo of Nuremburg, Germany. They have some pretty tempting second-hand stuff on their website. Has anyone had experience of dealing with this firm (mail-order or otherwise)?

Yes, I bought some Nikon stuff and a Leica M 24mm from them. No pb.

I just purchased a lens from them - still waiting. On the phone they were fine, no complaints on my side - but they do draw mixed feedback on other forums.

Update- the lens just arrived; Very fast, very well packed, exactly as described.

I have bought a lot from them. I had one negative experience in the past, but since then service has been reliable, fast and without any problems at all. This is one of the largest dealers in Germany.

I bought one item on ebay, which they unfortunately exchanged with somebody else´s item. The problem was solved by a phonecall. No dicussion about shipping costs for the final exchange of the items. Worked perfect.

Bought one item via ePay recently, and the mistake was on my side.

I put down a wrong bankaccountnumber, so the deal was messed up at first.
After sorting things out, the item quickly arrived.

I bought a minilux "date back" from them. Turned out that it was a normal minilux back. They refused to refund my money.
