I have 12. Some for collection, some barely used since I got an M8. I had considered selling some, but my Leica collection has been a better investment than my stocks recently.
M8, M7, MP, M6TTL black, M6TTL silver, M4-2, M3, M2, CM zoom, Minilux, Digilux 2, D-Lux 3. Why many? Because I like them and I can. |

I have 3 M6TTL, chrome, black, black paint millennium. Only use the chrome one, but keep the black to use with a different lens when I travel. I think I'll sell the black paint in the future.

CL, M5, M6 (Panda), M6TTL, M3, M8, MP, M8.2 (that makes eight).
I started with a CL in the 1980's and a few years later bought (for very little money) a beat-up M5 that did wonderful service. It took till 1996 - when I left the academic world and saw my income rise - before I could afford my first new M-camera, an M6 (Panda) with which I took tons of photos. After that followed an M6TTL (did not use it much) an old M3 (which I never use) to help out a friend, then the M8 (chrome), which I love, an MP and another great M8 (black). I had the chrome M8 upgraded. ------------------------ Frans Last edited by vertekijker; 23.01.2009 at 17:35. |

Let's see, four and a half -
SL R8 (I'm trying to sell - Sold the DMR) M6 standard "Panda" Digilux 2 Minolta CLE - sort of a Leica like. CL was stolen and replaced it with the CLE. Wish I had gotten another CL. First Leica was an M2 with collapsable Summicron that I bought used in 1967 for $200!!! Such a deal. Sometimes wish I had not sold it but then remember the MR meter on the top and all that and say progress is good - most of the time. |
