Fair deal?
Hi everyone and happy new year!
I have a quick question. I'm looking to buy a long tele lens for my coming trip to Greenland (have some relatives there). So far I have mostly been looking at around 180mm which to my opinion should be really good for shooting whales (Humpback whales mostly). The question is now, a local store not far from my is selling and Elmarit 180 for around 490dollars. I'm not sure which version it is, but the serial number is 2999877 and maybe you guys can help me out. The question is, is this a fair deal or is it worth the money to go for the newer ones?
