during performing a few functionality tests I thought I just send some greetings to all of you and wish you much fun in our new forum...

It is indeed a delight to find new friends, and old, here. After the ups and downs Andreas described to us earlier I sometimes wondered if we would have any place to share our friendship and interests in Leica at all! Now the result is here for all to see.

I like the combination of the international- and the German forum under one roof.
Switching is much easier and I am looking forward to a couple of new and interesting contacts.
Hope, that some day we will also have an opportunity to meet face-to-face at an international meeting (which I could imagine must not necessarily take place in Germany / Europe).

Greetings all, and many thanks to Andreas!

I did find one strangeness: when I looked at my profile I seemed to have picked up a postal address in the German part of Switzerland! So I've restored my UK location. Might be a good idea to check yours too folks...

Now to decide whether the world is ready for my mugshot - I think not :-)
