New Leica - Birthday present ?

Now that this Leica M news is published and the M product range available for the immediate future is known, we can all dream of how we can can spend our cash, or not.

Assuming somebody gave you a Leica Voucher for $7,000 which of the new items would you spend it on, and why ?

esp for Jaap - voucher expires after 4 months.

esp for imants - No hookers allowed ! Your opportunity to buy a Leica, but a body & lens ? I'll give you my voucher for that. :-)

To be quite honest - I wouldn't know. I am quite happy with the gear I have and really have no desire for more or newer. Well, I would keep it against a "real" R10, if that hypothetical beast ever appears.

eBay sellers transaction fees?

To be honest I would list it as one of the first one hundred serial number with collector status value and sell it at ... eight thousand?

On second thoughts, why wait. 24mm Summilux and start saving for another lens.

75/2 ASPH and a 135/3.4 APO and $500 worth of film.

Or a 75/2 ASPH and a second MP body (of course, then I'd be $700 in the hole).

Sorry DarkStar,

it is specifically for the 'new' items.

Interesting that nobody has yet said M8.2. Not surprising as that doesn't really enhance your images like a Nocti, or a 21mm.

Wonder if M8's will be sold to fund new glass ? The wide Lux's have got to be revelation on FF. Wide angle with bokeh, OMG !
