Default Noctilux-R

If you have a bit of spare cash...

It makes a 'remaindered' Noctilux-M in its wooden box look positively cheap.

Or, if you are a little less flush...

Wow. Especially on the 28 f1.4...

Well, if I win the lottery tonight, I'll buy both and give you a full shooting report to boot!

Thanks for this. I've just updated a few pages on my Leica sites with things I found at that site...

The Elcan Leica UW underwater house for Leica M!!!
leica.overgaard.dk - Thorsten Overgaard's Leica Pages - Leitz and Leica Camera Compendium
and with photos here:
leica.overgaard.dk - Thorsten Overgaard's Leica Sites - Leica History (in progress)

The Notilux-R and 28mm Summilux-R as well as a few "new" Elcan lenses:

I remember to have seen the 50 Noctilux R, but was never able to find any mention of it.
Many thanks for having posted it.

I remember also to have heard about a 135 Summicron R.
Someone can confirm about the existence such a prototype?

Fernando.

Damn, I was just about to confirm my order on line and noticed - just in time I must say - that it will not fit my R3 !!

Why not?!

Yep, the Summilux 28 is even more exciting... f 1,2 but with 52 (not 50) mm sounds a little Japanese...

30,000.00 EUR = $46,680.26 US

DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYUM, boyeee!!!

50 Cent, may I borrow your Visa Plutonium card?? Or maybe Bill Gates' Deathstar Master Card? Or maybe Tiger Woods' American Excess?

Definitely not meant for we mere mortals. Makes those last few Noctilux M lenses that are trickling in look downright affordable by compairson.

Prices like that make my liver hurt...
