KEH not answering???

I've been trying to contact KEH in Atlanta today, but the phones are all instantly busy and the web site doesn't respond at all. Does anyone know anything?

I tried once last year to buy some MF stuff from KEH. I also didn't get any answer when wrote them Email. Then on other forum I was told by people who regullary buy from them, they do not answer Emails untill you make order and payment. After that they are good in communication. Atleast that is what I was told. I chose not to buy there, but they still are considered as one of the best places to buy.

I was also told it is better to call them, than to write Email, so be persistent in calling untill they aswer (hopefully)

Oh, I just visited them, and their web ste is down. I didn't understand you earlier. Maybe on APUG people would know more...

I'd try asking on a forum where there aren't so many foreigners. The US 4th of July holiday is tomorrow, and KEH will be closed, and prolly Saturday to, so could be there phones were already busy to start with, then if there site crashed, add that everyone calling at once. Don't worry, that old junk will still be there on Monday.

I was in their office a week ago or so to sell a lens. So they're alive and kicking. Probably some technical problem that's affecting both their services.

A lot of companies now run their phones through their internet connection to save money (sort of a corporate version of Vonage) The internet link goes down - so do the phones.

Sadly my newspaper is one of these....we lose the web and the phones together about once a month. What was the old proverb about "eggs in one basket"?
