Lächeln Malcolm Taylor Contact

Hi There

I got a couple vintage leitz lens which got something like separation.
Would like to consult Malcolm for his opinion on the possibility of restoration.

I've googled for him but no email address found.

Anyone here had got his help on lens repair, would appreciate if
you can leave his contact (email address preferred) here or PM me.

Thank and Cheers
Matthew

Hi Steve

Thanks very much for the contact info.
I shall try calling him.

Cheers

I've not a clue I'm afraid - but Malcolm most certainly will <grin>.

Let us know the answer. I sometimes see lenses offered at low prices because of balsam separation, it would be good to know if it can be repaired.

Yes Malcolm can, he sorted out a 1938 3.5 Elmar for me, the rear cemented pair was coming apart. He does them in batches though, so to speed my repair up he swapped the pair for some he had in stock of the same focal length and curvature (ex Leitz NY I believe!)
