48mm UV/IR Filter for Elmarit 28mm & M8

Anyone direct me to where I can purchase a 48mm UV/IR cut filter for my Elmarit 28mm and M8 in the UK?

It's not offered by Leica, as you know. A B+W 486 should do just fine.

I'm in the US and can't direct you to a UK stockist; I just ordered the same item from Willkommen bei Foto Huppert, a company which has received good reviews on the forum.

Otherwise, I'm sure others will chime in with closer-to-home information!

Robert White is excellent for getting B+W filters. (There was a time when B+W changed their UK distributor, and their stuff was a bit difficult to get for a bit, but Robert White always seemed to be able to get it.)

OOoops!......Thanks all but my lens arrived today and it's actually a 46mm thread. Sorry for wasting folks time on this.

Is it a newer lens then?
