Saw a link to this on Photo.net. Only seen a few minutes so far, but it looks interesting.
Henri Cartier Bresson in action. In French, and not fantastic sound quality, but probably worth watching just to see how he worked.

Thank you Steve.
UNQUOTE No translation for now sorry as i have still a bunch of exams to mark... ... n'est-ce pas (isn't it) ![]() |

"I have 3 lenses, I have to acknowledge, when I work. When I am not going to work, I have just one camera with one lense, the normal 50mm (in hand). I prefer the Leica 24x36 format, isn't it, a little format, because the proportion is very nice, isn't it, between the width and the height, there is a rule, is'nt it, which satisfies me. I don't like the square format, because it's monotonous. It would be more interesting to rediscover the square format inside the rectangle, such as in painting, isn't it, we can find the square inside. " Claude |

These are great videos. Thanks a million for putting them up. What I notice about his shooting method is this: he walks constantly & keeps his eyes open, when he shoots he stops dead & holds the camera dead still, he shoots amazingly fast, he moves on.
