Default M8 and Coldplay
The "rock" band Coldplay shows, on the cover presentation at the iTunes store of their last album, one of the musician shooting a Leica M8...No such photo on the LP cover though...

My guess is the camera probably belongs to the photographer who shot this.

It is indeed a M7, not a M8 - check out the rewind crank on the left side of the camera. As well, there is other pics from that set where the M7 show herself in all her might

Someone in Coldplay using an M7...? I shall sell mine at once, rather than run the risk of being mistaken for a member of that whingeing bunch of Radiohead wannabes.

Radiohead are 100 miles ahead of Coldplay. The latter can never catch up.

I must say that I'm totally unimpressed by their latest album ... too bad iTunes won't allow me to give them a zero star. My opinion might change if the Kylie Minogue track were included.
