Well I'm gobsmacked...
I sent my Frankenfinder in to Leica US service in early February because the bubble in the bubble level wasn't there. In late April I sent my Digilux 2 in for service because the sensor failed. Guess which one I just received from Leica? After about a 4-week turnaround the Digilux 2 returns home in beautiful shape. Still waiting on the Frankenfinder... Don't get me wrong! I'm astonished and pleased at the turnaround my Digilux 2 received. I'm just baffled at how a finder has to be sent to Germany to replace a bubble level, and in how long it takes to actually replace it. <sigh> |

Tsk, Bruce, they are clearly growing new bubbles. That takes time.
Regards, Bill
