I am interested to know anyone's experience with an upgraded viewfinder for the M7 or M6 coupled with a magnifier. I've had my M6 upgraded and like the contrast. I was thinking of upgrading the M7 too, but wanted to know how it worked with a magnifier. Thanks.

Sorry for dropping the thread - I'm on vacation in Berlin. When it started is hazy at best. There are serial nrs. quoted but you can't trust them. I have an M7 that is 3 years old and it has the MP finder.

One thing I can say for sure - dust gets inside the eyepiece on my M7 like it was a vacuum cleaner. I've had it cleaned out once in Melbourne, but for whatever reason it just keeps on getting in there.
I'll take a look around to see if I can find out which serial no's have the new finder. David. |

I checked up - the betriebsk models were made in 2004, so apparently they have the MP finder. Next time I'm around a MP I'll compare flare just to see. |

I bought my M7 more than 6 years ago. A year later I bought the MP and noticed the improved VF.
I had my M7's VF upgraded, with the bonus of better dust sealing. It was worth it! ![]() |
