Frage Backpack question

Hello there!
I need a backpack for to carry at least one body, 3-4 lenses, a gitzo traveller tripod (35 cm), filters etc, clothing, food and water for a day, snowshoes, crampons and poles.

Any idea is welcome (besides buying a mule)

Check out some of the climbing/snow boarding backpacks. Put the lenses in the leather pouches and the camera in a small case. There should be enough attachments for snowshoes and tripod on the outside.

Other option since you going to be traveling in the snow....sled

Funny you should say 'mule'! Have you looked at the Camelbak 'Mule'? With or without the bladder (I dumped mine as soon as I got it home) you have a small, versatile and very comfortable backpack to carry all that you propose.

I use a Mule routinely on my pushbike. It carries my bike tools and pump, spare inner tube, Archos 605 PMP, Gore Paclite rainjacket, gloves, mobile phone, wallet, passport, keys, spectacles, sunglasses, Powermonkey charger and solar panel AND M8, three lenses, Manfrotto tripod, various accessories AND a bar of chocolate. The last item is optional.

If you need to go bigger look seriously at anything from Jack Wolfskin - wonderful stuff.

Take a look at the Naneu Pro Alpha. Click on the little circular pictures in the (gray) middle part of the screen to view configuration details:

Default AW: Backpack question

The Naneu Pro looks nice. I think I'll take this one or a winter backpack from Gregory.

Thank you
