General Call to all NYC- Metro Area Leicafiles. We are propositioning all local Leica shooters to give us the guts of what kinds of events would compel you to breakaway from the grip of everyday life and come together right now.

What would interest you? Where and how. Tell us your deepest, secret fears and desires. Let’s show some solidarity. The other cities have put us to shame.

As a start, The Salmagundi Club is having it’s ANNUAL NON-MEMBER PHOTOGRAPHY & GRAPHICS EXHIBITION. Monday, June 16 through Friday, June 27 . Details at: Salmagundi Art Club ENTRY DEADLINE is 3/10/08.

Send your thoughts in complete confidence, even if in the formative stages, rants & raves and whatever else will fit in an email to: either me at stuart.nordheimer@verizon.net or to my colleague Ben Lieberman (and author of this excellent idea and message) at roguewave@nysity.com We promise to get back to all with what we learn expeditiously.

rent some gallery space ( or have it donated ) and an open call to all. i'd come back up for that, some photog comeraderie..and some excellent deli! great idea. best. coos
