Default Leica 280mm f2.8 Tyled and 2X coverter

Hello everyone, I have recently purchased a Leica 280mm f2.8 one of the old ones I haven't got it home yet is at leica USA they are installing ROM contacts on it. I also have a 2X Apo- Converter Rom. Would they work together? I notice on eBay they are selling 2X coverter specially mentioning this specific lens. I rally appreciate a concrete answer.

Logan:

The APO 2x will work well on you 280mm. If you are using a DMR, the ROM converter will transfer the proper focal lenght to the DMR.
