Default Do I have to be called imported_xyz

Do I have to keep the "imported_" part of my username? Hardly anyone else has it, so I must have missed something.

Daniel,

I was wondering the same thing, I ended up as imported as well.

Would be nice to be able to change that.

No, you don't need to stay "imported". Just send a PM to Andreas (admin), and he'll change it for you.

I was "imported_tim" when I registered here. Now TimF because there was an existing "tim" from the old German Forums.

I was also ""imported" but Andreas said there was a German George on the German Forum. Why that would take precedence over my moniker that has been the same since before 2002 is a mystery.

But so are a number of things.

George

Default AW: Do I have to be called imported_xyz

Sorry for that 'imported_' stuff.

We joined the international and the german forum and had some members with identical usernames in both.

In the majority of cases they were the same persons using both forums. But we had some conflicts too.

Please write an email to me, I'll try to find a solution!

For example I will ask the german 'george' if he is still interested in particitpating in the forum.

Regards
Andreas
