Default How about a 'Lenses' sub-heading Forum?

Much of my research on this forum is about lenses, but I'm never sure where to look - would a separate 'Lenses' heading be a good idea?

Graeme

PS Just aquired a 90mm f2.8 FAT to try against my 90mm f4 - C and it took a while to search the forum for relevant info.

Customer section is the right place, IMHO, Graeme, but threads about lenses do tend to get put all over the place, that's true.

Would be a nightmare to "moderate" though, as people would claim that their post was specifically related to the use of a lens on an M8, (and therefore want to see it in the M8 section), while others say that their query was related to the use of a film M, so it should go in the "Film" section.

You can please some of the people... and all that

You'd also get images posted "without warning" to "illustrate" some difference can that of course easily be judged on a laptop screen at 72 dpi...

Bill

I find it amusing how M8 owners are clearly genuinely surprised that sticking an old LTM lens with adapter on their camera actually works! Most lens threads (M's that is) seem to be under the M8 forum.

The M8 has attracted a lot of new users to the Leica way.

Most threads about anything are in the M8 section. I think that a lot of M8 owners should go out and use their kit, rather than worry about it.
