Default Little yellow pop-ups

Is there any way to turn off those little yellow post-it notes that pop up when my cursor passes over the page? They are driving me a little batty.
Otherwise I like the new format very much.

What some call "Tool Tips" should only be displayed when your mouse has been floating over an element for a second or so. I agree that there's too many of them and it you need a tool tip to show you what an icon means, the icon design is bad because the whole point of icons is that they should be intuitive. Can't see any option to turn them off though.

I get them too, but only if I leave the cursor over the thread heading for a bit of time. I haven't checked though to see if there is a way to turn them off.

I would like to get rid of them also. They are very annoying.

If you keep your cursor away from the gray 'Thread/Thread Starter' area, you won't be getting any pop-ups. The pop-ups are just a quick preview of what is in the thread.

Enjoy the New Forum!

I find the 'yellow post-its' generally helpful. They are not a nuisance if you avoid them until needed.

I guess maybe I'm just not used to them, though I find it hard to imagine making use of them. They remind me of little land mines, or fleas in a carpet. I naturally figured there would be some way to turn them off. Guess I'll just have to avoid 'The Gray Zone".
Thanks,
DD
