Echo63 Posted February 25, 2015 Share #2 Posted February 25, 2015 (edited) I shoot dng + jpg to look the jpg into my ipad with sd card readerI'd like to do it with my iphone 6+ but Apple has blocked this feature do you know a wifi solution for that ? a wifi-sd card or any ? thank you I have a Toshiba Flashair card in my M as i demonstrated to a colleague tonight, i can take a pic (JPG only though, well i shoot JPG and DNG, but can only access the JPG) and access it by connecting my iPhone to the flashair wifi network, opening the flashair app, browsing through and downloading the file to the iPhone. from there i edited it in Filterstorm Neue, and emailed it to her. Toshiba recently announced a newer faster version of the flashair card too - might be worth waiting for as the write speeds to the version i have are rather slow (but i am used to a UHS1 Sandisk Extreme Pro card) startup times are similar, and the wifi access speeds are pretty good, faster if i aim the bottom of the camera (with the plastic tab in the baseplate) at the iPhone Edited February 25, 2015 by Echo63

Adonnan Posted February 26, 2015 Share #4 Posted February 26, 2015 Flash Air II is what is already on the market. The III iteration may also be out, but at a higher price point. Other apps exist to let you transfer DNG to the phone, but it is overkill to be honest. Just get it right on the JPG for your instant-sharing needs. B&H has 32gb card for $30 and some change.
cirke Posted February 26, 2015 Author Share #5 Posted February 26, 2015 The price is not a problem , I'd like to get something realistic (card and app) to show photos on the field for customers thanks you
Echo63 Posted February 26, 2015 Share #6 Posted February 26, 2015 I havent used the Eyefi - my flashair is the version2 (i will probably get a V3 eventually) I will try and get a video of the card/app working for you. Not too sure on the range of the card either, it isnt too great because the M has a metal body, maybe 3ft/1m - so it wont really work for letting a client watch a shoot unfold, but will work fine to show pics after the shooting is done
