lanetomlane Posted June 27, 2014 Share #1 Posted June 27, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Eileen and I have been trundling around the States for last couple of weeks and as we were in the San Francisco area, we paid a visit to CameraWest (I told Eileen that although the word Camera appeared in the name it was actually a shop specialising in jewelry). Anyway, I have to say that we were made so welcome, even though we were not likely to buy anything, that I just had to write and acknowledge the courtesy shown to us. We were allowed to fondle the Demo T and were invited to sit and look at large prints produced from it. I would certainly consider CameraWest for future purchases and thank them once again for the courtesy extended to us, which was really refreshing. Naturally, we have no formal association with the company concerned. Regards, Tom

Jeff S Posted June 27, 2014 Share #2 Posted June 27, 2014 In addition to this store, they run a shop in Rancho Mirage and are helping to open the new Leica Store in San Francisco. Jeff
Luke_Miller Posted June 27, 2014 Share #3 Posted June 27, 2014 I have bought from them via the big auction site. Very professionally conducted. No hesitation in recommending them.
swamiji Posted June 28, 2014 Share #4 Posted June 28, 2014 Be careful, in time they may become like family... I first walked in their Walnut Creek store in June 2008, within a month of the opening, Walked out with a M8. Even though I am now in China, they are the only shop I would trust with purchasing a lens sight unseen, and I still am in contact with them. In fact, I have an order placed with them at this moment. By the way, both the Walnut Creek and Rancho Mirage shops are Leica Boutiques.
nicolaz Posted June 28, 2014 Share #5 Posted June 28, 2014 I traded an M9 for a M240 few months ago.. Amazing service from Sean C. If I had money left I would probably have purchased other stuff from them!!! Again, really amazing service, the way that a relationship with a customer is supposed to be. erl Posted June 29, 2014 Share #6 Posted June 29, 2014 I have bought online from them twice in about two years. Most recently, about a month ago they sent me an M Summilux 50/1.4 demo lens. Looks brand new to me. Very reasonable price.Works beautifully. Prompt and courteous service, even though I am just on the internet as far as they are concerned. Would always be happy dealing with them again.
