RoySmith Posted February 27, 2014 Share #1 Posted February 27, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am enjoying my morning coffee in a new Leica Noctilux-M 50mm Coffee Mug which arrived yesterday from The Camera Store for $35.00 Canadian. This is the original list price of the mug which was a limited production about a year ago. I looked on eBay and they are asking 2 - 3 times this price. I'm am not sure how many they have left but if anyone is interested they should act now. They also have some of the Leica Summarit-S 70mm Coffee Mug for the same price. They're nice mugs, I have one too, but they are fairly easy to pick up for that price at most Leica stores and Leica resellers across the world. I'm not sure how limited the limited edition was

TomB_tx Posted March 1, 2014 Share #4 Posted March 1, 2014 I'm trying to cut back. Do they make an Elmar 5cm 3.5 coffee mug?
MarkP Posted March 2, 2014 Share #5 Posted March 2, 2014 I am waiting for the Russian clone. What, not the Hyperprime mug?
MarkP Posted March 2, 2014 Share #6 Posted March 2, 2014 I am waiting for the Russian clone. What about the SLR-Magic Hyperprime mug?
farnz Posted March 2, 2014 Share #7 Posted March 2, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) What about the SLR-Magic Hyperprime mug? I'd be concerned that the heat of the coffee might melt the glue and cause the mug to fall apart. Pete.
MarkP Posted March 2, 2014 Share #8 Posted March 2, 2014 I'd be concerned that the heat of the coffee might melt the glue and cause the mug to fall apart. Pete. I was just about to edit my post to add that a bonus tube of glue was supplied for exactly that reason, or a warning 'for iced coffee only'
Guest Posted March 2, 2014 Share #9 Posted March 2, 2014 I'm trying to cut back. Do they make an Elmar 5cm 3.5 coffee mug? An Elmar 5cm 3.5 mug might be only for a small espresso.
MarkP Posted March 2, 2014 Share #10 Posted March 2, 2014 A collapsible lens mug gives you the option of a single or double shot, or a piccolo .
farnz Posted March 2, 2014 Share #11 Posted March 2, 2014 A Thambar mug would be for latte or cappuccino. Pete.

farnz Posted March 3, 2014 Share #14 Posted March 3, 2014 Aww come on, Bill, where's your sense of humour? There's only so much that can be said about such a coffee mug and at least the thread hasn't (thus far) degraded into a snarling match about how crass it is to buy Leica-branded souvenirs when the indigent have to ... etc etc. Pete.
