It doesn't convince me. I'm a Lux shooter and these pictures are not worth the 6000 USD difference I should spend to have this lens. I must say that in the five years since I' a Leica RF user I only saw a couple pictures that made my mouth water for the Nocti, but even then. too much money for a lens that most of the times is an ordinary lens.

This is obviously my opinion.

The article is pretty much "general knowledge" (to me, however). The size comparisons are nice.

 

I find Steve Huff's article a lot better, a lot more actual pictures

I've been considering an f/1.

 

I found Edmond's article very good, the LFI article, and Erwin's reviews invaluable. Steve Huff & Ashwin added very helpful impressions.

 

I passed on the f/1. The "swirly" bokeh is just too weird for my taste. If I decide on the 0.95, it will replace the 50 Lux - not bothered about size and weight. I come from Nikkor lenses, and the Noct is still modest.

Just out of curiosity, did anybody see pictures showing how much of the viewfinder image is obstructed by a Noctilux by comparison to a Summilux?

And then again compared to an Elmar or Summarit.
